Anadarko Petroleum Corp.’s top executive in Colorado has been promoted and will moved from the oil and gas giant's Denver offices to Houston.
Brad Holly's exit from the market is not related to last month's fatal home explosion in Weld County that investigators determined was caused by gas leaking from an underground Anadarko flow line, a company spokesman said.
Craig Walters, Anadarko’s vice president for the Denver-Julesberg Basin since November 2014, now will be the company’s top executive in Denver.
Holly has been in Denver for four years, since May 2013, when Houston-area-based Anadarko (NYSE: APC) asked him to oversee the company’s Rocky Mountain operations, including eastern Colorado’s DJ Basin.
