CenturyLink Inc. will completely vacate its space in 1801 California, Denver's second-tallest office tower, the building's ownership confirmed Monday.
The skyscraper was once the headquarters of Qwest Communications International, which CenturyLink bought in 2011.
The telecommunications company's lease expires at the end of June, and it is in the process of moving its employees out, said David Sternberg, executive vice president for the mountain region and northern California for Brookfield Property Partners, which owns 1801 California.
But the space will not be vacant for long, Sternberg said.
Medical-ratings company Healthgrades has signed on to take up three of the floors vacated by CenturyLink, Sternberg said, and will get exterior signage on the tower once CenturyLink's sign comes down, which will happen soon.
