Colorado accounting firm is bought by Cleveland company

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - One of Colorado's largest accounting firms has been acquired by a Cleveland company for an undisclosed price.

The Seff Group P.C., which was ranked the 24th-largest accounting firm in the state last month by the Denver Business Journal, has been acquired by publicly traded CBIZ Inc.

"This acquisition will enhance our leadership and add meaningful scale to our presence in Denver— an important market for CBIZ," said Jerry Grisko, president and CEO of CBIZ, in a statement.

The Seff Group was founded in 1990 and has annual revenues of about $4.2 million, according to CBIZ.
