DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - The parent company of a Broomfield pizza chain is buying seven franchisee locations in the Southeaast.
CraftWorks Restaurants & Breweries Inc. said it's buying seven existing Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom locations from OCI Enterprises Inc. for an undisclosed sum.
The seven restaurants are located in Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana.
"CraftWorks was keen to participate in a purchase of the locations as it would not only expand Old Chicago's corporate portfolio, but would also help accelerate growth in the region, as Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana are target development areas for the brand," said Srinivas Kumar, CEO of CraftWorks, in a statement.
