Colorado startup seeks to track online learning

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - When Nicholas Garvin applied for a position at electric-car maker Tesla Motors in 2012, he felt there was really no good way to represent all the knowledge he had in the auto industry.

A lifelong car enthusiast, Garvin had spent thousands of hours reading online articles about the latest trends and technology in the auto industry, but there was no way to effectively convey that to the Tesla HR department.

Garvin's frustration was the catalyst he needed to eventually start Stackup, a Centennial-based company that would capture information from people's browsers and compile it so that they would have a way to showcase their knowledge.
