DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - DaVita has hired an executive with extensive experience in markets across the world to lead its growing international efforts.
Robert Lang will serve as the new president of international business for DaVita Inc. (NYSE: DVA), the Denver-based kidney-care giant announced Monday.
He most recently led the international-markets business for health-insurer Bupa Global, but previously worked for banking company UBS and insurer HSBC in positions that had him working in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America.
“Robert joins us with extensive experience and impressive results growing health care businesses across key international markets,” said Kent Thiry, DaVita chairman and CEO.
