DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - A Denver small-business payments processing service company said it's received a $115 million investment from a Rhode Island private equity firm.
PaySimple, based at 1515 Wynkoop St. in Denver, said it's received a $115 million investment from Providence Strategic Growth (PSG), an equity affiliate of Providence Equity Partners of Rhode Island.
"PaySimple is the first true service commerce solution on the market and we are excited for the opportunities that our PSG partnership will bring," said Eric Remer, CEO of 10-year-old PaySimple, in a statement.
As part of the investment, Mark Hastings, managing director and head of Providence Strategic Growth, will join the PaySimple board of directors.
