Denver's new National Western Center office has a leader

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Kelly Leid, the man who spearheaded work to redevelop a large swath of north Denver, has a new focus — overseeing the transformation of the Denver Coliseumand the National Western Stock Show complex into a year-round entertainment, education and business campus.


He'll be the executive director of the Mayor's Office of the National Western Center, an office created by Denver Mayor Michael Hancock via an executive order.

The office, according to Hancock's office, is "a critical next step" following theapproval by Denver voters of ballot measure 2C in November.
