'Difficult times' at Colorado coffee company that's battling Bob Marley's son

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Down but not out.

That's the grim future for Jammin' Java Corp., which does business as Marley Coffee of Denver.

In August, company co-founder Rohan Marley, the son of legendary reggae singer Bob Marley, and members of Marley's family, filed suit to prevent Jammin' Java from selling Marley Coffee.

That suit was a crushing blow to the company, according to CEO Brent Toevs, who wrote shareholders Thursday that since the suit, "we have cut costs across the board, closed our main office and reduced our head count."
