Executive honored with Colorado Women Chamber's Athena award

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Jean Galloway has been awarded the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce 20 th annual Athena Leadership Award for her work forging partnerships between for-profit businesses and nonprofit organizations.

The Athena Leadership Award is presented to a woman or man who is honored for professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills. Since the program’s inception in 1982, more than 7,000 leaders in 500 communities have received the prestigious award.

Galloway formed Galloway Group, which is now called Prosono, in January 2000, and focused on developing partnerships between for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.

Galloway’s previous work was in public relations and in work securing sponsorships and implementing award-winning community programs at Denver TV station KUSA-9News.
