DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - It isn't often that business leaders sit down to discuss economic development with the people leading the cause on environmental stewardship.
So when it happens, one should sit up and take notice, says Maria Bartiromo, Global Markets Editor and Fox Business Network anchor.
Bartiromo, a veteran business journalist and host of Mornings withMaria Bartiromo, will lead a panel discussion at the upcoming Biennial of the Americas conference in Denver where she is hoping to provoke the next big idea for trade in the Americas.
Previous biennials were held in 2010 and 2013. The third edition, July 14-18, will feature speakers and panelists including Danielle Saint-Lot, ambassador at large from Haiti; and Cesar Gaviria, former president of Colombia; as well as local leaders such as Gov. John Hickenlooper and Denver Mayor Michael Hancock.
The weeklong conference brings in state, national and world leaders to discuss big ideas about where economic development, the arts and culture intersect.
