DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - The merger between Guaranty Bancorp (NASDAQ: GBNK), the holding company for Guaranty Bank and Trust Company and Home State Bancorp, the holding company for Home State Bank, is complete.
The deal was announced in March: Denver-based Guaranty Bancorp and Loveland-based Home State Bank would merge to form one of the largest Colorado-based bank holding companies. The $133.7 million deal was approved by the board and awaited regulatory and shareholder approval.
