DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Two of Colorado's rising Republican political-consulting firms — one of which has a founder with a very familiar name — announced a merger Tuesday.
Monica Owens Beauprez and Hillary Shoun will bring together their companies to form WestBrooke Group. Combining their existing clients, it already represents a treasure trove of both GOP office-seekers — including Colorado Treasurer Walker Stapleton and U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn of Colorado Springs — and nonprofits such as the Golden View Classical Academy Foundation and Arc Thrift Stores.
Owens Beauprez is the daughter of former Colorado Gov. Bill Owens and daughter-in-law of former U.S. Rep. Bob Beauprez, and she has worked on campaigns ranging from Lamborn's to Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential bid. Shoun is a fundraising specialist who has worked for a variety of GOP office-seekers both in Colorado and in nationally watched races like Louisiana's 2014 U.S. Senate contest.
