DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - The last thing business owners and families want when they walk out of their home or office is to feel unsafe.
And if they're looking for the best place to find that full sense of security, they're best off in Erie.
That's according to the 2016 " Safest Places in Colorado" report released Wednesday by New York-based data analysis company ValuePenguin.
The report looked at the most recent FBI crime statistics for 77 Colorado cities total. Cities were then assigned a crime score of 41 to 5,266 based on the number of violent and property crimes committed per 100,000 residents.
