Lowry apartment complex sold for $112 million

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - An apartment complex in Denver's Lowry has been sold by one Chicago-based owner to another for $112 million.

Amli Residential's Amli at Lowry Estates, located at 8155 S. Fairmount Drive, sold to a limited liability company registered at the same address as Mesirow Financial Holdings Inc., an international company with nearly $32 billion in asset under management, according to Denver County public record.

The 414-unit complex sold for $271,000 per unit.

Amli acquired the property in 2000 for $51 million, according to the chain of title filed with the county.
