MassRoots execs take pay cuts; also invest in company

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Executives at Denver-based marijuana social networking company MassRoots Inc. are taking big pay cuts; and the CEO is also investing in the company.

Last week, the company's board of directors approved cutting president and CEO Isaac Dietrich's salary to $95,000 per year from $130,000; cut COO Dan Hunt's salary to $90,000 per year from $130,000; and cut Chief Technology Officer Lance Galey's salary to $60,000 per year from $150,000, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Late last month, the company said it was cutting 40 percent of its staff and had missed paying a debt payment.

But on Friday, the company said it repaid that debt in full.
