DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - The latest update to Crane Watch demonstrates the Denver metro area’s need for industrial space and how developers are answering that need — and not just in the typical industrial hotspots like Denver’s Montbello neighborhood and Aurora.
Of the 15 projects added to Crane Watch this month, 10 of them are industrial, totaling more than 2 million square feet of industrial space under construction, new to the map in October.
While some of those projects are located in industrial-heavy Aurora and east Denver, such as the McLane Foodservice building, a build-to-suit that will bring 240 jobs to Denver, others are located in areas of metro Denver that are less accustomed to industrial development.
In Centennial, Central Development LLC has started work on a 150,000-square-foot speculative industrial building that is the first phase of a 55-acre business park.
