DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - SCL Health officials have chosen their lead financial executive to serve as interim president and CEO after their current leader departs next month.
Lydia Jumonville — who has been CFO at the Broomfield-headquartered, $2.5 billion health system since 2010 — will take over day-to-day operations in the wake of Mike Slubowski’s departure to become president and COO of Michigan-based Trinity Health.
SCL Health is undertaking a national search to find a successor for Slubowski, who oversaw the company’s move of its headquarters to Colorado and grew several non-hospital lines of business.
“My passion is faith-based, nonprofit healthcare, and I’ve been blessed to support SCL Health the past seven years,” said Jumonville, who previously served as senior vice president and CFO of Baylor Health Care System in Dallas. “I am honored and humbled to have been selected to steward our health system during this transition period.”
