DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - The highest-paid faculty and staff at Metropolitan State University of Denver buck the trend at other public universities in Colorado — half are women.
Data was only available for the top 10 highest-paid staff and faculty at MSU Denver, with President Janine Davidson in the top spot. Davidson, former undersecretary for the U.S. Navy, took over the role effective July 1. She replaced Stephen Jordan, who announced his retirement in September 2016.
"We believe higher education is a vehicle for upward social and economic mobility both inside and outside the classroom," said Cathy Lucas, vice president of strategy and chief of staff at MSU Denver. "Inclusive leadership is not just a 'tag line,' it's the foundation for innovation and problem-solving in a large, hugely talented and diverse organization like MSU Denver."
