DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Last week, three major carriers — Sprint, Verizon and AT&T — tied for offering the best mobile service in Denver for the latest half year.

Now, Sprint Corp. (NYSE: S) said it has a plan to speed its Denver customers' download and upload speeds by 200 percent as well as increase data coverage in their homes.

Sprint's "magic box" was introduced yesterday and is available in Denver, as well as San Francisco, Indianapolis, New York, Chicago, and Houston. The company says all a customer needs to do with the box is place it by a window and plug it in.

"Sprint Magic Box connects to a nearby Sprint cell site and within minutes is up and running. Customers immediately have a better experience inside their businesses and homes," the company said in a statement.
