Visit Denver opened a $300,000 high-tech tourist information center just off the 16th Street Mall on Monday, hoping to aid the growing number of visitors in getting around town and learning about events.
The center at 1575 California St. replaces one that had been half a block away on the much-traveled pedestrian mall.
The convention and visitors bureau will put up signage on the mall to try ensure it doesn't lose any foot traffic, president and CEO Richard Scharf said.
