Western Union expands in China

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Western Union said that it's expanding its operations in China.

The Douglas County company (NYSE: WU) said 6,700 additional Bank of China locations are now offering its services, which are now available at more than 10,000 Bank of China locations in the country.

Western Union said that it now more than 36,000 total retail locations in China.

"This location expansion is not only a remarkable milestone for our collaboration with Bank of China but also serves as a key contributor to further strengthen our leading position in China's cross-border money transfer market," said Chris Cruzado, regional vice president, North Asia, Oceania and Indo-China, for Western Union, in a statement.
