SHADOW PROGRAM
Thank you for your interest in
visiting our station. 9News has designed its shadow program
to provide students with an opportunity to view the work that
goes on behind the camera.
We offer three shadow programs per year – generally in March/April,
June and August/September. Each session begins at 9AM and ends
at 12:30PM. During this time you will have the opportunity to
attend an editorial meeting, meet with news staff that will
talk about and answer questions on our news process and tour
the station. The session will conclude by watching our 12Noon
newscast from Studio A. Interested candidates must be at least
a junior in high school.
