Marijuana use to be hot topic at HOA conference

DENVER - Legal retail pot sales and marijuana use will be a hot topic on Tuesday at a Denver conference talking about homeowner associations.

Leaders will debate how HOAs should regulate marijuana use and production within their communities.

The cleanup of dog poop and whether community association managers need to be licensed will also be some of the other topics discussed on Tuesday.

Education sessions starts at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 2 p.m.

The conference registration costs $60, and it takes place at the Colorado Convention Center.
