DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - When you think of online real estate startups, your first thought isn't Denver.
Seattle's the hotbed of online real estate companies: It's where Zillow Group Inc. (Nasdaq: Z) got its start, as well as Redfin Corp. and some other lesser-known firms like Rebls and Surefield.
Now a Denver online real estate company is joining the fray. Prevali says it will be different because it will list homes that are "coming soon" to the market and "hip pocket" listings that aren't on real estate's Multiple Listing Service (MLS). The company estimates that those two pools of homes constitute 40 percent of the real estate market.
