What you can rent for $1,300 (or less) in today's metro Denver market

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - In most metro Denver cities, $1,300 or less gets you a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment that's under 1,000 square feet in size.

However, cities like Aurora and Brighton, further from the city core, are outliers — there, you can nab up a two-bedroom apartment that's larger than 1,000 square feet and comes with on-site parking, even a garage.

But the closer you get to downtown, the less buying power your money has. In Denver, for example, $1,175 a month gets you a 416-square-foot studio apartment with off-street parking that requires an additional $65 a month.

For our final look into the buying power of your rental dollars in metro Denver, we looked at 18 metro Denver communities, those with listings available at that price point, with apartments you can rent for $1,300 or less.
