Sleep Number recalls bed foot warmers

KUSA - If you like to warm your feet in your Sleep Number bed, a new recall could affect you.

Sleep Number is recalling thousands of foot warmers because they can short circuit, overheat and cause burns. 

The company has received six reports of overheating including one report of a burn injury.

The recalled foot warmers were sold exclusively with Sleep Number 360 smart beds (models i7 and i10) when combined wih a FlexFit 3 adjustable base. The beds were sold in TwinXL, Full, Queen, King, FlexTop King, Cal King, Split King, Split Cal King and FlexTop Cal King varieties. 

The foot warmers were sold in Sleep Number stores and online between April 2017 and August 2017.

Sleep Number says if you have one of the foot warmers, disable it and contact the company for a free replacement.
