KUSA - Check your fridge, because contrary to what the popular advertising campaign may tell you, you really need to let go of these Eggos.
Kellogg announced this week it is voluntarily recalling around 10,000 cases of Eggo Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat Eggos due to listeria concerns.
The company says it has not received reports of anyone getting sick from the contaminated Eggos at this point. The health concern was discovered during routine testing, Kellogg said.
The waffles were distributed to 25 states – including Colorado. No other Eggo products were impacted by the recall.
Here’s how you can tell if your box of Eggos is subject to the recall:
· Package Size: 10 Box Count (12.3 oz)
· Package UPC Code: 38000 40370
· With Best If Used By Date of: NOV 21 17 or NOV 22 17
Anyone who bought these Eggos is asked to call Kellogg at 1-800-962-1413 for a full refund. That number can be reached between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Eastern Time.
