6th graders caught drinking at school

FORT COLLINS - School officials at Johnson Elementary in Fort Collins caught a group of 6th graders drinking an alcoholic concoction at school recently.

Ellen Laubhan, Poudre School District's spokesperson, said one student brought the mixed drink to school and drank it with other students.

She said the students have been punished and the school district has contacted the parents of those involved.

She added that the Poudre School District has a zero tolerance for drinking.
