'Kobe stop crying' signs pop up on Denver streets

written by: Jeffrey Wolf     9 months ago

DENVER - 9NEWS doesn't condone the defacing of public property, but we do appreciate the sentiment displayed on stop signs in Denver's Baker neighborhood.

Just west of Broadway, it appears a Nuggets fan, or fans, tagged at least 10 stop signs within a two-block area.

Partially stenciled in black paint the sign now reads: "Kobe stop crying."

According to a neighbor, the signs were painted Tuesday night after the Denver Nuggets lost Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals to the Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe Bryant.
