DENVER - The FBI is asking for the public's help to catch a robber dubbed the "Shaggy Bandit." Investigators say this person is believed to be responsible for at least 11 bank robberies since June 24. ![]() Investigators say the "Shaggy Bandit" robbed ten banks in Colorado and one in Arizona. Investigators say the robber enters a bank, approaches the teller and demands money before showing a dark-colored backpack. Generally, he steals the money and leaves without drawing attention from other customers or bank employees. Investigators say on three occasions, he entered a bank but left with no money. However, he continued to another bank where he was successful. Investigators believe there is a second person waiting with a get-away vehicle.
