The Park County Sheriff's Office says the hunters, identified as Tom Ogilvie and Steven Holcomb, walked out of the wilderness to a fire station in the Lake George area, where they were given food and fluids.

Deputies say the hunters appear to be OK, and they were busy answering questions from rescuers. It was not immediately known why they did not return from the cabin as planned.

The hunters' ages and hometowns were not immediately released.
