The fire started around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 4600 block of Miller Street.

When Arvada firefighters, who cover part of Wheat Ridge, arrived at the scene, flames were coming from the roof.

Firefighters got the fire out about 45 minutes later.

The fire department says everyone was able to get out of the home safely. No one was hurt.
