The Aurora Fire Department responded to a single-family home at 860 Scranton Street in Aurora shortly before 7:30 a.m. after reports of possible poisoning.

At least two ambulances were sent to the home and all five people were taken to hospitals as a precaution. Fire investigators say none of the injuries were life threatening. A crew from Xcel Energy also responded to investigate where the possible carbon monoxide originated from.

The family told investigators a new roof had recently been put on the home. It was unclear if that was related but investigators did say they believe the home's furnace might have been a factor.

No additional details have been released.
