Blu-ray Bandit hits Blockbusters

DENVER - Police are looking for a suspect known as the Blu-Ray Bandit after the unknown man stole dozens of blu-ray movies from two different Blockbuster stores.

Video surveillance caught pictures of the man struggling with an employee while attempting to steal 20-25 blu-ray movies from the shelves inside the Blockbuster store at 550 N. Grant Street, Denver on Sept. 9, 2009.

He's also hit the Blockbuster at 1007 E. Colfax Ave on Sept. 1, Sept. 17 and Sept. 23.

So far this suspect has been able to get out with the stolen blu-ray's every time he enters a store. Blockbuster says he's been able to get away with thousands of dollars worth of blu-ray discs.

The suspect is described as being short, between 4 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 2 inches tall, about 140 pounds and has short brown hair. He typically wear some sort of Bronco's apparel.
