Another driver was following the Black 1995 Chevy pickup truck and saw it crash into Castlewood Canyon creek early Monday morning.

The Colorado State Patrol says the driver, 25-year-old Terry Walker of Franktown, lost control on the narrow winding dirt road.

He was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the truck as it fell, according to the State Patrol.

The crash is still under investigation. Troopers are looking to see if speed or a possible impairment were factors.
