The 36-year-old entrepreneur, who founded a Colorado-based Internet software security company, had been missing since June 30.

Hikers found the body near the Pali Tunnel. It was recovered by firefighters.

Thomas was last seen in Waikiki, where his mother and a cousin were staying. Thomas' wife spent Sunday handing out flyers in Waikiki.

Thomas' family said he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in April but refused medication.

Thomas, of Lanikai, is the founder of Webroot Software Inc. The company was sold in 2004 to a group of investors for about $108 million.
