Radio program to feature Taylor, Crosby among others during DNC

BOULDER - If the names David Crosby, Graham Nash, James Taylor and Ani Defranco mean anything to you wait until you find out where they will be during the Democratic National Convention.

At the end of the month the singers and songwriters will be on Etown, the syndicated weekly variety show based in Boulder.

On August 26, Etown will bring the musical guests together for the ultimate variety show, set to begin at 9 p.m.

Tickets to the event will go on sale to general public on August 14. Etown members will be able to take advantage of advanced ticket sales on August 12.

In a news release Etown said they've "worked with the city of Denver to arrange the event with the aim of bringing the nonprofit's unique mix of live music and messages of environmentalism, sustainability and community engagement to what has been dubbed the greenest convention in modern U.S. history."

The show will include musical performances and interviews with some of the brightest minds gathered for the DNC. Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper and Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter are among the expected guests.

"Etown is a beautiful and rare thing on the radio and in this land," said Taylor, the legendary singer-songwriter. "I'm so glad Etown exists."
