AURORA - Police have arrested a person they have been looking for since January who was wanted for kidnapping and assault: Joseph Moron.
Aurora Police say Moron, 35, was wanted on charges of stalking, second-degree kidnapping, second-degree assault, first-degree burglary and numerous counts for violating a protection order.
Police say on Sunday around 6:30 a.m. a woman came to the Aurora Police Department saying she was assaulted by her boyfriend earlier that morning. Police say the boyfriend was Moron.
Officers then went to the 200 block of South Newark Circle to look for Moron and took him into custody. He was found sleeping in a bedroom.
He now also faces charges related to assault, battering and menacing.
