Man convicted of 3 separate murders

Kervin Rogers, 26, was convicted of three counts of first-degree murder, and will serve a mandatory life sentence for each of them.

Prosecutors say Rogers killed 56-year-old Robert Clark on Nov. 18, 2009 in the 3300 block alley between Blake and Walnut Streets, 30-year-old Cheriece Knox on Nov. 19, 2009 in the 4300 block alley between York and Josephine Streets, and 22-year-old Allisen Falk-Compton on Dec. 13, 2009 in the 5000 block alley between Clayton and Fillmore Streets. Each victim was shot twice in the head.
