For four days a week, participants in this new teaching program work in a DPS classroom - working along side a mentor teacher.

Then, one day a week, they take classes at the University of Denver's master's program for teaching.

After a year of this "residency," the participants are offered a contract to teach within DPS. After their second year as a teacher, they have the opportunity to receive a license and get their masters.
