DENVER- Wells Fargo Bank is warning its customers of phishing phone calls they may have received regarding their accounts.
Wells Fargo spokesperson Cristie Drumm tells 9NEWS that these scams have been happening all over the country. A person will generally call pretending to be a representative with the bank and will ask you for an account number and sometimes a social security number.
"Wells Fargo will never call and ask you for your personal information, or your account information," Drumm said.
Drumm says if you have given your information in one of these phone calls to call your bank immediately using the number on the back of your card so they can help you monitor your account.
