The area of low pressure spinning south of Colorado dropped too far south to bring snow to Denver and much of the Front Range overnight. Southeast Colorado, however, did get hit, and many areas could still see half a foot of snow.

9NEWS Meteorologist Becky Ditchfield says the most significant snow will be found across eastern Colorado where a WINTER STORM WARNING has been posted through Tuesday night.

The snow in southern Colorado has been impressive with some of the reports from Tuesday morning:

Branson    14.0"
Kim              8.0"
Beulah        7.0"
Custer        6.0"
Walsenburg 6.0"
Rye              5.4"
Alamosa       4.0"
La Junta       2.0"
Pueblo         2.0"

Drier weather will arrive statewide for Wednesday and last through Friday. Temperatures will be mild, with highs in the 50s. Temperatures will reach the 60s for Veterans Day on Friday.
