DENVER - Investigators released new photographs on Friday in connection to a case where a deputy district attorney was shot and killed outside his home in 2008.
Adams County Chief Deputy District Attorney Sean May was killed outside his Denver home on Aug. 27, 2008. The crime remains unsolved.
A year ago, Denver Police released photos of an unknown man who was in the area at the time of the shooting. They re-released those photos on Friday along with a new photograph of a different man who was also in the area at the time of the murder.
Police say neither of the two men is considered a suspect, they just want help in identifying them to get more information about the case.
All of the photos were taken by a surveillance camera at the 7-Eleven store at West 38th Avenue and Irving Street. Police say they may not even be aware of the murder or what they may have witnessed.
The man who is next to a truck is described as white or Hispanic and was dressed in business-type attire, including a dress shirt and a tie. At the time he owned or was driving a black, late 1990s to early 2000s model Nissan Frontier with an extended cab pickup.
The man in the white shirt was a pedestrian and may have lived or frequented the area during August 2008, according to police. Those were the photos released last year.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). You can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $125,000.
