During the monthly board meeting, leaders took a second look at their decision not to allow an 8-foot-tall Chanukah menorah this year.
The Evergreen Parks & Recreation director says the area is actually owned by the City and County of Denver and Denver says the placement of a religious symbol is prohibited.
However, on Tuesday the Parks & Rec department came to an agreement with Denver to not only allow the menorah this year, but the property will allow decorations of all faiths just for this year.
Work will continue to clarify the policy for next year and beyond.
