The video, posted on YouTube on Monday, shows the FedEx driver throwing a computer monitor over the gate of the residence he's delivering it to.
A security camera at the home recorded the incident.
FedEx says it is aware of the video and says it has reached a satisfactory resolution with the customer.
The company says the employee will be handled according to the company's disciplinary policies.
Here is the full statement from FedEx spokesperson Shea Leordeanu:
"FedEx is aware of the viral nature of the video. An important note is that the situation has now been resolved to the customer's satisfaction and we are handling the employee according to our disciplinary policies. At the same time, we hold our whole company to the highest standards of professionalism and care. While we continue to be surprised about the behavior shown, we know this is an aberration, and is not reflective of the outstanding FedEx customer service that makes us proud around the world. We look at this as a great learning opportunity. We have already used it internally to remind all of our team members that every single package is the most important one."
