GOLDEN - A 1-year-old Tabby couldn't help but gaze out the window at all the snow he's probably never seen before on Thursday.
That's because Waylon is from Naples, Fla.
His owner adopted him in August, but on the day he was brought home Waylon disappeared through a dryer vent.
Somehow, he made it to Colorado.
Wednesday, a good Samaritan took him to the Foothills Animal Shelter in Golden.
Thanks to a microchip, he'll be reunited with his owner in Florida.
It's still a mystery how Waylon made the 2,000-mile journey to Colorado.
