DENVER - In an attempt to keep the Mile High magic going, Denver Mayor Michael Hancock has named Jan. 13 the second official Orange Friday in support of the Denver Broncos heading to their second playoff game this season.

Hancock is encouraging Broncos fans across Colorado to wear orange on Friday in anticipation of the Broncos taking on the New England Patriots in Massachusetts on Saturday.

"Denver is electric with enthusiasm for the Broncos," Hancock said. "It's up to our fans to come together, continue to show support for our team and give them the energy needed to keep this magical season going."

Bannock Street will be renamed "Broncos Boulevard" for a week starting on Friday, and a giant "Good Luck Broncos" card will be drawn with sidewalk chalk in front of the City and County Building.

The city is throwing a huge Bronco rally Friday morning and everyone is encouraged to attend and celebrate in anticipation of the big game.

The rally is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Bannock Street between Colfax Avenue and 14th Street.

The Broncos Cheerleaders will be there as well as Miles the mascot and the Stampede drum line.

Hancock also says "Go Broncos" will greet every driver who parks in Downtown Denver at the smart parking meters, the City and County Building will be glowing blue and orange every night until the game, and he is wagering another bet with the opposing team's mayor, this time against Boston Mayor Tom Menino.

At Denver International Airport, visitors will also notice a Broncos message from John Elway when riding the trains, employees will be sporting "Mile High Magic" buttons and the DIA sign on Pena Boulevard will be burning orange and blue.

The mayor is also asking Broncos fans to bring canned goods to Civic Center Park for a "Cans from Fans" food drive. For more information, visit: http://www.denvergov.org/mayor/MayorsOffice/ProgramsInitiatives/CansFromFansFoodDrive/tabid/442694/Default.aspx.
