The purpose of the trip is to get feedback from citizens about how to create more jobs and get businesses growing.
Ken Lund, the Head of the Office of Economic Development and International Trade, said it's important to grow jobs across the state, not just in one region.
A team from the Office of Economic Development and International trade will travel to 14 regions in the state and meet with local economic development stake holders and partners. They will discuss how to implement a blueprint plan that OEDIT drafted on a similar regional tour.
According to AdvanceColorado.gov, OEDIT offers a host of programs and services tailored to support Business Development at every level. They include business retention and relocation services, a bioscience and emerging industries program, Business Finance programs, the Colorado Tourism Office, Colorado Creative Industries, the Colorado International Trade Office, the Colorado Small Business Development Centers, Minority and Women-owned business services and economic research.
