Arvada- The Ralston Valley Mustangs hockey team beat Regis-Jesuit Tuesday night. The win snapped the Raiders 17 game winning streak.
The 5-4 win keeps Ralston's hopes alive for a conference championship.
Regis-Jesuit's Brian Burlage opened the scoring in the first period with assists from Logan Baca and Marshall Conrad.
Ralston's Nick Kuhn started the back and forth action with the game tying goal. Then Baca scored for the Raiders, but Ralston had the answer again. Connor Mize scored on a shot from the point to make it 2-2.
The Mustangs took their first lead of the game on a Nick Lucci goal but the Raiders tied it with a power play goal from Marshall Conrad.
Ralston Valley took control with back to back goals from senior captain Chris Lupinski.
